I love gomedia. This is a great tutorial. As I watched, I kept hoping you(Jeff) would mention what kind of tablet you are using, I'm looking for a tablet myself. Also, one of my pet peeves with design in general, but especially in photoshop is people using DPI and PPI interchangeably. For clarification, though I'm sure you already know, DPI is dots per inch, that refers to a work after it's been printed, PPI is pixels per inch, referring to pixels on a screen or device. In regards to the whole CMYK and RGB thing, being an unusual designer myself who loves color management, there may be potential in the future to show how to change a documents color profile with the best accuracy, or at least with a preview of what you're getting (rather than the old Image>Mode>...), it's easy to do. You don't have to get into color profiles and all that, but generally, most individuals in work environments that are not color managed would be using U.S. Web Coated SWOP (v2). Sorry for the long post.

  • No worries on the long post, Vince! Yeah, Jeff's insanely talented, huh? I just sent him an email seeing if we could find out what Wacom tablet he uses. I'll post his response here. I have to agree with you...the whole DPI/PPI thing is a pet peeve of mine too, which is why I went out of my way to explain it all here: http://www.tentonbooks.com/psc...

    Thanks for the comment!
