Hey Mike! Sorry for my delayed reply. Thanks for the comment and all the kind words! You know, I try really hard to make even the most dry topics interesting and fun -- if only they did that in school! And I hear ya loud 'n clear: web stuff, and how to integrate PS, IL, DW, FL, etc into that. I'm actually working on a few new DVDs that'll get right into this stuff. The people have spoken, and I'm bringin' the thunder!

As for the elastic sites, that's one that I'm workin' on, so stay tuned! Thanks again for the great comment!

Hey Geoff, wicked videos, if only they could have taught stuff like you in school, comedy and learning, a winning combination. I loved your previous CSS tutorials, saved my life on a few projects! I think if you can do more of the web 2.0 stuff and relate it to the programs we all use (Adobe!) everyday then you will be offering a great service. No doubt CS5 will have some great new features but not that much changes from 3 – 4 – 5. I am still on 3 ad don't see the need to spend a wad more cash. Great work, have you done any tutorials on elastic (%) websites. I see the big boys use this technique a lot but seems a bit daunting at the min.

Hey Brian, thanks for the awesome comment! Yup, I agree -- the consensus is in: web design it is! In addition to the comments I'm getting here and elsewhere, I've received a pile of email this past week essentially echoing exactly what you're saying: Everyone does Photoshop; nobody does web. And I have to admit, new features in Photoshop don't get me all that excited. It's more, "I just got comfortable with the last version..." But building custom WordPress themes, discovering hacks for web widgets, pulling off an awesome CSS-based design for Zen Cart...that's exciting stuff!

So here's a thank you to you and to everyone else for saving me from Adobe purgatory!

As for AJAX, jQuery, and PHP/MySQL, I never really got into that stuff. Being a design guy, I've learned how to navigate around that stuff, but have never dug deep. I'd love to do some DVD's on that stuff, but it'll have to be with a "guest host!" Know anyone who can make that stuff easy, understandable, and fun? :)

Hey Geoff, I decided to drop ya a post to let ya know how awesomely helpful I think your videos are. I think you should continue aiming at the web oriented stuff. I agree everybody and their brother/ sister does photoshop tutorials but its rare to catch one of them aimed at web design and functionality.

BTW I am curious if you have considered going over topics like AJAX, jQuery, or PHP/MySQL. I find that you can do awesome stuff when you put these together but a lot of people don't know about that.

First, thanks for your comments and all the kind words. So awesome to hear you're enjoying Ten Ton TV. To answer your question about building layouts in Photoshop, then dropping them over into Dreamweaver, that's a DVD that I'll definitely be making very soon. How's Ten Ton Photoshop For The Web sound? :)

Both Ten Ton Dreamweaver and Ten Ton Photoshop delve into what you're asking for, but I'd love to take it even further, and dedicate an entire DVD to the subject. Others, are ya into it!?

As for Ten Ton, yup it began as a small project a few years back, and has grown into a full-time passion! I'll shed a bit more light on all that in a coming episode, how's that sound?

Geoff, you are so funny. You make me laugh. This is my deal, I am very new to Dreamweaver and Photophop. All the tutorial I have watched are very segmented and already have pre made graffics to illustrate how the software works. I am looking for a training video on how to make a complet web layout in Photoshop and bring it all together in Dreamweaver to make it all work. I Know that you are just the right man for the job. I have the Total training videos with you in it and that is how I got to know you. You are a great teacher. God bless!! P.S. are you the man behind Ten Ton books and how did you get the name

Ten Ton Zen Cart would be awesome...and I'm beginning to think this is something that could very well happen. Dreamweaver and WordPress would be huge, too. I think we're gonna be seeing some killer new DVD's from Ten Ton being released soon!
