OMG! I almost fell off my chair when I saw this. My brother had a Commodore 64! We played some ridiculously slow games on that thing. I distinctly remember an Osprey in one of them. (Sigh) How badly does this age me?

Good lord, now my mind goes further back and what do I find? Memories of yelling at the TV during games like, Yar's Revenge, Circus and Combat from Atari!!!

    Great post Geoff!!
  • Hahaha! Awesome! That's trippy though...my brother and I used to play tons of games on the Commodore too...Radar Ratrace, Pirate's Cove, Garden Wars...those were the days! We didn't really get into Atari, but when Nintendo first hit, it was like crack!!!

    Glad you enjoyed the post!

Not a laughing matter I still have a Commodore 20 Computer but I have the deluxe floppy drive and optional extra … it’s packed away somewhere around here in a box along with my darkroom ... Pre-Photoshop.
  • This is serious stuff here! Did you ever use it on the bow of a clipper ship, or no? :) Yeah about 8 years ago I was offered a complete darkroom setup, for free. I actually thought about it for a bit, but did wind up turning it down...
  • This is fucking brilliant! 16k of RAM! I've never loaded a new RAM cartridge before tho, so I'm going to have to buy this DVD. Thanks for offering this great resource, Geoff!
  • Your comment is seriously hilarious, Jessi! Yes, you read that right -- 16 whole k!! Loading cartriges can be tricky...but all is revealed in the DVD!! :)
  • Wicked! Always wanted to know about computers and getting my charts looking great. Thanks Geoff!
  • Ha! Yeah apparently computers can do some pretty sweet stuff...so long as you have that additional RAM cartridge!
